School's Back in Session

I can't believe it's that time of year again.. Where did the summer go? I can't believe my daughter is in middle school.. Where did the last 11 years go? Savannah absolutely loves middle school and her favorite subject is her new locker. We visit it daily and have decorated it with the newest accessories (yes she is my daughter)... I love hearing about all the fun she has, the boys that are talking to her (yuck) and all the silly girl stuff... This should be a great 3 years.... On the other hand school was a nightmare for me.. the worst opening in 10 years.. I spent my last four days doing transportations job just getting kids on the bus because of something they did different... Hello? It didn't work... I think I have complained enough to get my point across and am soooo glad this week is over. Now on to the rest of the year... We had a great visit with Courtney....it's always fun to feed her if nothing else....Guess that's all the news for now.. still working on getting a birthday party together for Pop Pop's (75th) next summer... Any ideas???? More later.... Love Di

Trip to North Carolina

Hi Guys, just got back from a wonderful visit with my sister and family in North Carolina and Courtney taught me blogging 101. So this is my first try!!! Had a crappy trip on the ole Amtrak, food was the pits, smelled awful till we got moved to another car and then had to sit next to Crazy Bob. Needless to say I have lots of stories about that trip. We decided to fly home thanks to Allegiant Air and their $39 fairs. What a God send.... Anyway we all had a wonderful time, good food, good fun, and lots of catching up. Is always great to see everyone. Courtney I'm having trouble uploading my pictures, you will have to help me when you get here.
