A Year Later.....

Talk about being on top of things.. I loyally check in on everyone in the family to see what's going on but forget how to update my blog... finally when I was bored and had absolutely nothing to do, I sat down and figured it out so....... What's been going on?? Not to much... Just celebrated the "Big 50" and the only thing that has truly gotten me through this is the shock on everyone's face when they finally know my age. I have wallowed in the compliments and am trying to remind myself that it's only a number. I will continue to look 40, feel 30 and act 20.. Maybe that is the secret to my success... Savannah is growing up so fast, she is a big 7th grader this year and actually had a little growth spurt over the summer.. She is now 56 inches tall and 70 pounds... She knows all the fashions and can sing every song on the top 10 charts, spends hours playing with her hair and even more updating and re-doing her profile on myspace. She loves photography and I think is actually becoming a bit of an avid reader like me. She finally loves to go shopping we me as long as we stop to feed that never ending appetite of hers. I enjoy every minute of our time together and know that it's only 5 years away before she's picking a college.. hard to believe isn't it??? We had a wonderful summer going to the new Aquatica Park at Seaworld and re-doing the master bathroom. We spent a wonderful week at the beach celebrating Pop Pop's "75th" birthday. We laughed a lot, got caught up on all the gossip and took some great pictures. I just found another piece of property two streets over and would love to build a new house.. This one is 10 years old now and I have a few changes I would like to make.. Wish me luck.. going to put a bid on the property this week..
