WE HAVE A TEENAGER IN THE HOUSE....

Sorry I've been slack in my blogging... Savannah crashed the computer about a week or so ago and we just got it running again.. I think she learned her lesson.. it was a LONG WEEK....We finished Savannah's room, went to Sea World and then Blue Springs for her birthday.. Enclosed are a few pictures.. I still don't know where the time goes.. I can remember the day she was born like it was yesterday and then wishing she would sit up, and crawl, and talk to me and walk and "poof" just like that, she was "13". She told me the other day she was growing up too fast and she missed being little... Me too!! I miss playing Polly Pockets all day on Saturday, dress up and the tea parties... Not that we don't have plenty of good times at the mall checking out the cute boys, shopping, playing in the make up and eating lots of cookie dough when we get depressed...it's just different...I'm glad she still likes to sit on my lap once in a while and cuddle..
I go back to work tomorrow and must kiss my summer good bye for another year.. It was a great one... Grammie is doing very well, healed up nicely and doesn't have to have any thing done to her nose. On a sad note, her sister Gloria passed away on Saturday morning. She was a wonderful person. What I remember most about her was how soft spoken she was all the time, how she loved being a nurse and helping people, how she loved babies and animals... I was born on her birthday so we always shared a special bond.. She will be missed...

Sad, Savannah after crashing computer.

I can't believe she is 13 either, time certainly does fly! Hope she had a good birthday! The room looks great all finished but I knew it would. Give Grammie get well hugs from me!

OK, first part of that post - SO SAD!!! I'll admit, made me tear up a bit :-( I guess it's bittersweet more than it's sad. Either way, I think Ava is growing up too fast and I can't fathom the day she turns 13. I think I'll just sit in the closet and eat cookie dough and cry.

The room is amazing! Love the colors! Great pics too, the "Dolphin Whisperer" is my favorite.

Sad news about Gloria, too. I'm sure Grammie will find some comfort this week in TX with the family.

As for the summer being over...well...I'll definitely notify you as soon as I figure out this whole time travel thing ;-)

OMG, my baby girl is going to be 13 one day...OMG...OMG...
